Lemur Weekend

About Lemur Weekend

Fancy feeding a lemur? Come along to Lemur Weekend for the chance to win!

Come along to celebrate all things Lemur with us over this fantastic, fun-filled weekend. Our Link to the Wild charity partner, Feedback Madagascar, will be on hand all weekend to answer questions and sell beautiful objects made by the Malagasy people.

Meet the keepers, the education team, visit our touch table with real animal biofacts, take part in our games and activities, and be in with the chance of winning our raffle to feed our lemurs each day! Walk through our amazing "Lemurland" and get up close to these mischievous primates.

Madagascar is one of the most naturally diverse countries in the world. Many of the animal and plant species found living there can be found nowhere else in the world. Unfortunately, however, one of it's most famous species - the lemur - are at risk of extinction. Of the 101 recognised lemur species and subspecies, most are classified as endangered in the wild.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Lemur Weekend are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
