Visit The National Wallace Monument over the Easter break to learn about the man who inspired a nation – watch the Scotland’s National Hero presentation before exploring the exhibition galleries inside the Monument to see the famous Wallace Sword. Reach the Crown at the top of the 220ft tower for breath-taking views in all directions.
Listen as a costumed actor gives a short presentation on the life of William Wallace. Discover who he was, where he came from and how he fought to free the people of Scotland from oppression.
11:15am, 12:00pm, 12:45pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:15pm and 4:00pm
Each presentation lasts approximately 15 minutes.
Performances which are scheduled to take place in the open areas surrounding the Monument may be rescheduled (or cancelled) in the event of inclement weather.
The National Wallace Monument closes as 5:00pm, last recommended admission is 45 minutes prior to closing.
