If you’ve got some foraged beach treasure from the holidays we’ve got the perfect class for you! Suitable for complete beginners, this workshop is an ideal introduction to making rings using found objects.
Choose the perfect piece of found sea glass from our extensive selection or bring your own beach treasures along. This workshop is an ideal introduction to stone setting, and we’ll learn how to make a simple bezel setting, as well as basic jewellery techniques such as sawing, drilling, filing and soldering.
The weekend will begin with a demonstration on how to saw, shape and apply a variety of textures and finishes to silver. We’ll practice these techniques before learning how to create a bezel setting for your sea glass ring. We’ll also cover how to safely drill holes in pieces of sea glass so you can use them as beads for future projects.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
