Talk on The Willow Tea Rooms Trust Glasgow

Organised by the Friends of the Stirling Smith

The Willow Tea Rooms Trust purchased the Mackintosh Grade A listed premises at 217 Sauchiehall Street in 2014 and after four years of renovation opened to the public in 2018. As well as restoring the original Tea Rooms and famous Salon de Luxe the building now incorporates an Interactive Visitor Exhibition, Education & Learning Suite and shop.

In her talk, Jean Sinclair will tell us about how the Trust approached such an important and unique project, we will see images of the newly restored building and learn how the legacies of Mackintosh and Kate Cranston are being used to welcome schools, communities and cultural events into the building.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Talk on The Willow Tea Room Trust Glasgow are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
