Static Falconry Display

Meet a variety of birds at this static falconry display at The National Wallace Monument every Monday during July and August.

Static Falconry Display

About Static Falconry Display

Falconry has been around for a very long time, and it was particularly popular in the UK in Medieval times.

Alba Falconry will be on site each Monday in July and August to provide an insight into the birds of prey used and the history of the sport.

As part of their static display, Alba Falconry will be bringing along some of the birds from their sanctuary, includes Owls, Falcons, Hawks and Kestrels.

This is a great visual activity where everyone can come and learn a bit more about one of the techniques for hunting used in Medieval times.

Static Falconry Display from 10am to 5pm.

Please note: events may be rescheduled (or cancelled) in the event of inclement weather or due to operational reasons.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Static Falconry Display are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
