Fabulous free concert by Purdue University Bells & Glee Choir in Dunblane Cathedral on Wed 15 May at 7.30pm.
You are invited to a unique and unforgettable evening with Purdue University Handbell Ensemble and Purdue University Glee Club (from Indiana, USA) with Dunblane Cathedral Handbell Ensemble in a free concert in Dunblane Cathedral on Wednesday 15 May at 7.30pm.
The 25-strong Purdue University Handbell Ensemble performs on a double 5-octave set of handbells, presenting a wide range of music from classical to jazz.
The Purdue University Glee Choir, comprising 70 male vocalists, performs an impressive variety of musical styles, from classical to contemporary.
And in a first this concert will include a piece by Dunblane’s Malcolm Wilson which will combine the huge forces of the university handbells and male voices.
This is the opening concert in the UK tour of the Purdue University groups and it would be great to have a large audience to start off their tour - hope you can be there!
