About Loch Boltachan, St Fillans

Distance 10mls/6hrs Ascent 500m/1640ft.
Varied walk, mainly on paths and tracks. Short section on open hillside can be indistinct and muddy. Part of route follows old Comrie St Fillans railway giving access to Dunira Forest and Loch Boltachan. Good Views.
Walking boots or shoes and warm waterproof clothing required. Bring food and drink for the day. You must have a reasonable level of fitness and stamina for this walk.
