Many Studios is a creative organisation founded in 2010 as a not-for-profit business focused on providing affordable work and events space to artists, designers, craftspersons, and start-up creative businesses. We currently have forty unique spaces and over sixty members at our Ross Street studios, including two shopfronts facing onto the historic Barras Market; as well as a gallery space currently home to the independent, artist-run, Market Gallery.
STUDIOS - FOSTERING A VIBRANT COMMUNITY OF CREATIVE PRACTITIONERS
Many Studios offers spaces for a wide range of creative practitioners, providing an environment conducive to professional development. With our range of sizes and types of studios - including lockable offices and open-plan workspaces - we are home to many types of practice, from architects to fine artists, illustrators to videographers. If you would like to find out more about our studio availability, get in touch: info@manuystudios.co.uk.
EVENTS SPACE AVAILABLE FOR HIRE
Many Studios has a flexible, accessible event space available for hire from as little as £35/hour. Our bright, airy, ground floor venue is suitable for a range of activities and events, from exhibitions to workshops, business meetings to presentations, performances or film screenings. We have a range of furniture and layout options, as well as a ceiling-mounted projector and sound system. So whatever your event idea, get in touch to find out if we can host you: info@manystudios.co.uk.
POCKET PARK
In collaboration with resident architecture practice New Practice, Many Studios has created a publicly accessible garden space in the vicinity of our 3 Ross Street location. Composed of a series of raised block planters, it is designed to provide a green pocket of escape amongst the city streets. The Pocket Park is the perfect spot for a coffee break or chat with a neighbour - tucked away off Gallowgate and opposite our studio building, you can discover this little garden oasis any time of day.
