Come join our free Fun Palaces all across Scotland celebrating culture in the community - from tie-dye and felting in Dumfries all the way to 3D printing & guitar playing in Orkney!
What new things could you try this weekend? This year you can try your hand at some stand-up comedy in Leith, learn some gaelic and microbrewing at Rothes Library, shake some new moves with a deaf-accessible dance class and apple-pressing at Macroberts Arts and immerse yourself in virtual reality and your brain at Bishopbriggs library!
Fun Palaces celebrates culture boldly across the arts and science spectrum too, with yoga and cartoon drawings in Dunfermline Carnegie Gallery and Libraries, autumnal arts and crafts with pumpkin carving in Auchinleck, hands on free science experiments with Midlothian Science Festival and Leith Labs and reminiscence of the unique brass bands heritage in West Lothian!
Find out more about the year-long campaign for cultural democracy below and get stuck in your local Fun Palace - if you have any community-led free activities or ideas, never to late to get involved and add it to the map!
