This half day workshop will give you confidence to use field guidebooks to recognise different plant families.
Join us for an introduction to plant ID. This workshop is aimed at beginners and those looking for an introduction to popular plant ID guides. We will provide participants with the confidence to use field guidebooks, to recognise different plant families, where to go to get more help, and how to build upon the knowledge gained in the course. We will focus on flowering plants and will introduce you to some useful guides for flowering plants.
What to bring - This workshop is all outdoors, please check the weather forecast and come prepared for the weather, refreshments, a hand lens and any guidebooks you have. (Recommended books are The Wild Flower Key- Francis Rose & Collins Wild Flower Guide)
Venue - TCV Scotland office, Balallan House, 24 Allan Park, Stirling, FK8 2QG.
Parking is available at the rear of the building although spaces are limited and can't be reserved.
Experience Level - No experience required.
Cost - £25.00 (plus Eventbrite booking fees)
