We will be donating £1 from every ticket sale to the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
For three evenings, from 6th-8th April 2022 Menzies Hall, FADS will be staging two award-winning plays: ‘Give a Little Love’ by Alan Stockdill and ‘Housebound’ by Simon Mawdsley, which is also our entry in this year’s national One Act Play Festival.
GIVE A LITTLE LOVE – remember the Bay City Rollers? Even if the answer is no, you'll enjoy this tale of memories and music. When some old school-friends meet up again after 30 years at a Bay City Rollers tribute concert it soon becomes apparent that you can take a girl from her teens, but you can't take the teenager from the girl. Laugh, cry and Shang-a-Lang along with Liz, Karen, Debbie and Bev - and get swept away by this entertaining, touching and revealing drama.
In HOUSEBOUND, an agoraphobic housewife is taken hostage by a reluctant villain. As the desperate moments tick by, an uneasy rapport develops between them, which is tense, touching and, perhaps surprisingly, very funny.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
