Join us for an inspiring landscape weaving workshop with Stephanie Fradette, aka Le Petit Moose. Tapestry weaving has seen a great resurgence in interior designs of late, and weaving is a great way to achieve a contemporary art piece for your home. No need to bring anything along, although it would be great for you to begin thinking about what the seaside means to you…is it a turquoise ocean? Perhaps wave breaking on a rocky cliff or a marram swept golden coast. Bring a few images and we’ll see how we can transfer your vision to tapestry. Learn how to warp a frame loom and weave whilst creating texture, then adding length and finishing techniques. There will be a large variety of yarns to choose from and you'll leave with your own landscape-inspired woven wall hanging.
