More information-
Hanging by a Thread is an international art project, designed to raise awareness and support for Afghan women and girls. People from around the world have created small mosaics, inspired by the colours and patterns in Afghan textiles. These pieces will be put together to create a long colourful scarf, celebrating the diversity of Afghan culture.
Mosaics created by UK participants will be displayed in Stirling in November. You are invited to come and make a mosaic to be included in this display. You will use glass tiles to create a colourful mosaic rectangle.
Local mosaic artist, Rachel Davies, will guide and support all participants to make their mosaic. All tools and materials are provided.
Hosted by BAMM (British Association of Modern Mosaics) in collaboration with Creative Stirling
