In this fun and relaxing workshop, Paula from GOSSIP Art Collective will guide you through a few interesting techniques to wrap your Christmas gifts with reusable fabric, following the principles of Furoshiki.
Turn the Christmas holidays into a waste-free celebration, by ditching the use of regular wrapping paper! The fabric can be kept intact to be reused for future projects.
"Furoshiki" is the name of the traditional Japanese art of wrapping items, and it's not only used for gifts, but also for packed lunches and more.
All materials for this workshop will be provided, including tea and coffee.

The Stirling Reuse Hub is rescuing items and materials from going to waste. To do so, we accept donations of items and materials from locals who have no use for them, plus we also have a container at the recycling centre, where people can leave their unwanted items and materials. Our goal is to decrease our local community's carbon footprint, and to support the transition towards a sustainable lifestyle.
