Level: Suitable for Beginners
Use our rolling mill, hammers and punches to create texture and pattern on your sheet silver before forming and soldering it to complete your bangle. We’ll teach you how to measure and size your bangle for a perfect fit, and top tips for a professional quality finish.
This is a great introductory class for complete beginners, but also a great add-on skill for more experienced jewellers, and a great opportunity to make the most of our extensive tools and equipment. You’ll leave at the end of the day with your completed bangle in sterling silver, and the skills and confidence to go on making. Check out our starter tool kits in store if you haven’t set up your home jewellery studio yet!
What to bring:
We’ll provide everything you need to make your beautiful bangle including tools and enough silver to make a regular sized bangle as pictured. You have the option to purchase extra silver at cost price if you’d like to go big and create a wide statement bangle
Please bring along glasses if you need them
Wear appropriate, warm clothing and footwear for a studio environment including closed-toe shoes. Why not order yourself a CSSJ apron to make you feel right at home in your workshop?
If you have long hair please wear it up
If you are the type of person who prefers to arm yourself with some knowledge ahead of time then we have prepared a Pinterest page filled with jewellery making information and roll printing inspiration just for you!
Tea, coffee and biscuits supplied. If you could bring a lidded cup that would be great! Bring your own lunch to eat in the studio or we can advise you of nearby places to eat
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
