This workshop will let you into a secret... Charcoal is amazing!
First, you'll work with charcoal maker Jo to prepare your own artists' charcoal. You'll explore different materials that you can use to make charcoal, prepare them for the fire, and then cook and cool them so you can use them later on.
After lunch, you'll work with visiting artist Alan Grieve to explore different drawing techniques, using the charocal you've made and some provided by our sister social business, Soul of Fire. It's an opportunity to use your hands and your mind and get creative!
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
