About Hand planing
Learning how to use a hand plane is a really useful skill, but often done incorrectly or avoided because ‘it’s too complicated’. Join Chris for this session all about using this incredibly useful tool. You will learn about sharpening, maintaining and setting up the plane. You will learn what to look for when buying a plane and a little bit about the various types of plane available.
This class assumes no knowledge and no experience is necessary. Children are also welcome, but children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. All materials provided, but please feel free to bring your own planes along
