In partnership with and support from the newly rebuilt Stirling and Clackmannanshire group, MS Society Scotland are delighted to be delivering our Managing Stress and Anxiety course in Stirling.
Location: Stirling University Innovation Park, Scion House, Stirling, FK9 4NF
The course will take place over two sessions on Thursday, 28 November and Thursday, 5 December from 10am until 12pm. To get the most from this course, we encourage you to attend both sessions.
This course will allow you to engage with other people affected by MS, and together we will explore how we might deal with stress and anxiety while living with MS. We will look at the differences between stress and anxiety, learn how to recognise them and develop tools for managing them.
It is an interactive course, designed to complement the discussions you have while participating. There will be a handbook to accompany the course.
Over each of the weeks the course will look at the following themes:
• Stress and anxiety and how it affects us
• Stress, anxiety, and MS - understanding how stress and anxiety affect my MS and how my MS affects stress and anxiety
• Getting to know my stress and anxiety. What triggers it, how it shows up, and how it makes me feel?
• Working with stress and anxiety - building a tool kit to help me manage my stress and anxiety
Age 16+
Additional Dates: 05 December 2024
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
