Are you ready to put your investigative skills to the test and collect forensic evidence? Join us for an interactive workshop where you'll examine the disappearance of The Turners and explore the world of forensics.
There is evidence to uncover. Are you ready?
Join us for our interactive weekend workshop, where we consider The Disappearance of The Turners.
Taking place on Saturday 7th December 2024, 10:30-13:30 PM. This in-person event is a must-attend for anyone interested or curious in understanding the basics of forensics and evidence in Scotland.
Join us and put on your forensic suit as we examine different types of evidence. During this workshop, you will interact with and consider fingerprint, blood spatter as well as soil evidence. You will take on the role of forensic scientist as we piece together what happened to The Turners.
Will you be able to uncover what happened to Arthur & Meg?
Limited Tickets
Workshop size will be limited to under 25 tickets. If a solo ticket is purchased then you may be partnered up with another solo attendee or with a member of the Scots Law Talks team. This is so that you can sufficiently work/get to grips with the evidence. You will be provided with PPE clothing and equipment during the workshop.
Light refreshments; teas and coffee are included in your admission. Please note that doors open for this event at 10:15am.
Location
We are delighted that the Stirling Smith Art Gallery & Museum will be hosting this event.
Accessibility
Note: The Stirling Smith Art Gallery & Museum aims to be as accessible as possible for its visitors. If you have support needs and/or are a wheelchair user, then please contact us in advance so that arrangements can be put in place to support you during your visit or we can suggest an alternative venue that may be more suitable.
Warning
Recommended for 16+ due to mature themes and discussion on crimes.
This workshop does cover content on blood spatter, decomposition and serious injury.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
