Here we are, slowly but surely tip-toeing towards Spring—the sun is out more, the energy is higher, the urge to unfold, unfurl, to clear and to bloom are all in the air… and soon the Spring Equinox will tip us out of winter and into the blossoming new season.
Through a day that combines Yoga, breath practice, movement, excellent food, and connection with nature and others, this retreat will be a chance to celebrate our lovely bodies emerging into Spring, our lovely earth doing the same, while we create together a space for peace, companionship, reflection, joy, and renewal.
The day will offer:
Several Yoga practice sessions, exploring more dynamic practice as well as gentler ones.
Breathwork and Mindfulness
A delicious and hearty homemade lunch, as well as drinks and snacks
Walks by the loch
A chance to be creative
A whole lot of rest and restorative self-care
Community and chat if you want it; quiet and reflective time to yourself if you prefer
All of the above are optional and you are encouraged to choose to do, or not do, whatever serves you best on the day.
The day will be facilitated by me, Shams, a yoga teacher, dance buff, remedial therapist and counsellor. If you already know me, you know that as well as being very passionate about my work, I am sincere but love bad jokes, knowledgeable but hold it lightly, I love teaching but love learning even more. If you don’t know me, I’m sure it’s tough to decide to come along, so why not get in touch with me and we can have a chat first.
The retreat will be held in the stunning Trossachs Tryst, Invertrossachs Road, Callander FK17 8HW--with the lapping of Loch Venechar nearby and a myriad gorgeous walks on our doorstep.
The cost for the day is £100 covering all sessions, food, kit and materials. You can book by contacting me directly.
Please get in touch to book, to find out more or if you have any questions.
Contact via email or at 07886 100 523 (via WhatsApp, if possible)
I hope you can join me to be astonished together,
Best,
Shams
