Art, Craft and Activity Holidays From £879 Includes Full Board and Tuition

Gartmore House might look like a quintessentially traditional Scottish manor home from the outside but take a step inside and you’ll discover how Gartmore House has been transformed over the years. From family home to army barracks to a school, this atmospheric house has lived many lives throughout its history but has since found its niche as a provider of arts, crafts, and activity holidays.

Nestled within the stunning Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park and set in 100 acres of private land, this beautiful 18th century property is the ideal place to enjoy an art, craft, and activity holiday. Whatever your creative passion, Gartmore House welcomes you to bring your hobby on holiday. With our bright craft workshops and dedicated tutors, you can develop new skills or brush up on some old ones. Choose from over 40 different holidays. From knitting & crochet, patchwork & quilting, & sewing, to painting, photography, hill walking, and more! We have something for everyone. From the novice crafter to the seasoned professional, we welcome all abilities on our holidays.

All holidays include freshly prepared, wholesome meals and home baking, made by our chefs using local produce. Enjoy farm-to-table comfort food and a selection of Scottish favourites throughout your stay. Wet your whistle with a drink from our well-stocked bar where you can find a range of craft beers, gin, spirits and local whiskies. With the likes of Glengoyne and Auchentoshan just a stone’s throw away from the house, we’re spoiled for choice when it comes to our drams!

Stay in comfortable en-suite accommodation individually decorated with traditional Scottish touches. Our rooms are expertly serviced and the perfect place to unwind after a hard day’s crafting. We have a mixture of single, twin, double, and multiple occupancy bedrooms available. Whether you are a solo traveller, a couple or a group of friends visiting we have a bedroom to suit your needs.
