Stirling’s first legal distillery offers gin tours, tasting sessions, cocktail masterclasses and a gin school where you can create and take home your own bottle. We are located right under Stirling Castle and our building is a historic place of interest from the Victorian era.
Stirling Distillery makes, bottles and labels all of its products on site, by hand, and we are always developing new recipes and experimenting on our mini stills. Our classic gin was developed in 2015 by husband and wife team Cameron and June McCann. Using juniper, angelica root, orange and lemon peel, basil leaves and wild foraged nettles from the Stirlingshire countryside, our spirit is clean, peppery and beautifully smooth.
We also produce a range of liqueurs known as the Folklore Collection. Comprising of the Raspberry Red Cap and the Mint and Bramble Green Lady, they are both made with fresh fruit and our very own gin and are bursting with flavour.
Cameron and June bought the Old Smiddy building in 2017 and after eight months of resotration, construction and installation, Stirling Distillery was born. Since its opening we have welcomed visitors from all over the world and we love to share our story and our gins.
We offer a beautiful event space for your private parties, corporate meetings or family celebrations. You can book the distillery for a tour or decorate our tasting room for hen nights, birthdays and anniversaries. We can even offer cocktail classes to spice up your night.
