Dunblane’s Rubber Chicken Theatre will return to the stage this weekend as part of a global event celebrating local theatre.
They’ll be one of 2500 clubs from over 40 countries performing All Together Now, a musical revue featuring Broadway songs from hit shows such as Beauty and the Beast, Matilda, Come From Away and Frozen.
Artistic Director Pamela Mackie said: “This weekend is going to be pretty special. After nearly two years working on virtual or outdoor projects, our performing arts family are coming together with other theatres across the globe to perform some of Broadway’s best loved songs.”
She added: “We’re so grateful for the support we’ve had from the local community throughout the pandemic and all of our cast, from the youngest – aged 4 – to the oldest are buzzing with excitement to get back on stage.”
Performances will take place at Dunblane’s Victoria Halls on Friday 12 November at 7.30pm and on Saturday 13 November at 2pm and 7.30pm. Tickets are on sale from rubberchickentheatre.co.uk
