Go Forth Stirling launches Festive Window Competition
Stirling’s business owners are being encouraged to decorate their shop windows for Christmas and take part in a competition with a cash prize.

The team at Go Forth Stirling have launched a Christmas Window Dressing Competition to add some sparkle to the city centre during the festive season.
And there’s a £500 prize on offer for the business with the best shop window selected by a public vote.
Go Forth Stirling Project Director Danielle McRorie-Smith said: “We’re hoping to encourage all our fabulous businesses to help give Stirling some extra sparkle this Christmas by decorating their shop windows with a festive look.
“Many of our businesses already do this every year but we thought we’d add a little excitement and extra incentive by offering a cash prize for the most inventive and striking design.
“We’re also asking the public to get involved by voting for their favourite Christmas window via our social media pages.”
Business owners who want to take part in the contest simply need to sign up via a form on the Go Forth website - www.goforthstirling.co.uk/christmas-window-competition
The shop windows should be decorated by Thursday December 1 and the winner will be selected by a public vote on the Go Forth social media pages.
Voting will take place over a three-week period with entrants being gradually eliminated until a final three go head to head for votes.
The winner will then be announced on Tuesday December 20.
Go Forth Stirling is the city’s Business Improvement District (BID) which represents more than 600 business owners with a key objective of increasing visitors to the city and devising initiatives to help make it a more welcoming destination for businesses and shoppers.
