Sterling Home are supporting families across Central Scotland this Summer by partnering with Scottish Book Trust’s much loved Bookbug program to host a series of free sessions in their flagship Tillicoultry store throughout the Summer holidays. The collaboration aims to provide a fun and educational experience for children during the summer break when parents often find it challenging to balance work, childcare, and keeping their kids entertained.

Sterling Home will invite families to their iconic flagship store in Tillicoultry to enjoy an exclusive series of Bookbug Sessions taking place on selected dates throughout the summer holidays. The first session will take place on Tuesday, 4th July, starting at 10:30am in the Mill Cafe located within the Tillicoultry store.
Each session will last for 30 minutes and feature interactive storytelling, rhymes, and songs that captivate children's imaginations and instil a passion for reading. Trained storytellers from Scottish Book Trust will conduct the sessions, creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for parents, carers and children to explore the magic of books together.
In addition to the much anticipated Bookbug Sessions, Sterling Home has organised a host of exciting activities throughout July and August to ensure a memorable summer holiday experience including mobile petting zoos, creative workshops and face painting. The Mill Cafe will also be running a fantastic “Kids Eat Free” promotion on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays where children aged 12 and under can enjoy a delicious hot meal for free.

Spaces are limited so early registration is encouraged to avoid disappointment, however there will be a limited number of spaces available for walk-ins on the day of each session.
